Kohima, September 12 (MExN): The Nagaland Department of Transport has notified two workshops for retro-fitment and alteration of vehicles to make it suitable to be driven by persons with disabilities.
Informing this in a press release on Monday, the Office of the State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities (SPCD) stated that the authorisation was done in pursuance of orders passed by the Court of the SCPD on April 28, 2022 and June 28, 2022, and in partial modification of Notification dated May 31, 2022.
The two workshops are M/s Bimal Automobiles, Dimapur and M/s Bhai Bhai Engineering Works (BBE Workshop), Kohima.
