Mon, March 20 (MExN): World Oral Health Day was observed at Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Mon town under the theme “A happy mouth is a happy life,” organised by the National Oral Health Programme, District Hospital Mon.
Dr Imtimenla Nokdy, Junior Dental Surgeon, District Hospital Mon, spoke on the importance of oral health and its impact on overall well-being. She also encouraged students to go for regular dental check-ups to maintain good oral health.
A quiz competition was conducted by Dr Esther Chophy Ngullie, District Nodal Officer, NOHP, during which certificates and cash prizes were awarded to the winners.
All participants also took a pledge to maintain good oral health.
The programme was attended by Mhayani R Kikon, women leader, Lotha Church Mon, along with NTCP staff, school authorities, and students of Don Bosco Higher Secondary School.
