Dimapur, November 6 (MExN): The Western Sümi Hoho (WSH) has vehemently condemned the “kidnapping culture which has been on the rise in recent times.” The WSH in a press release stated that “Most of the kidnapping is done because of monetary reasons by various groups demanding some amount of money.”
“The abduction of one businessman in the state capital by an underground faction recently is highly condemnable,” it stated while denouncing “such deplorable acts that have overtaken the Naga society.”
The WSH demanded that ‘It should be made public which group or faction is involved in such cases of extortion and kidnappings so that people will know who the ones are going against the will of the people.’
“Such continuous acts are going to invite the public wrath in the coming days if those doing these despicable acts don't restrain themselves and stop from these kinds of anti-social acts that are jeopardizing the peaceful co-existence and harmony amongst the different communities,” WSH added.
