Dimapur, August 17 (MExN): The Western Sumi Hoho (WSH) has agreed to suspend the ongoing indefinite bandh of Dansiripar Sub-division. Informing this on Wednesday, the Media Cell of WSH stated that Sumi Hoho, Western Sumi Hoho, Sumi Kukami Hoho and Core Committee, on the invitation of the Deputy Commissioner, Chümoukedima, held an informal meeting at the official residence of the DC on August 17. “After thorough deliberation on the issue of payment of damage compensation to Kiyevi Village, the talk came to a meeting point whereby on the appeal and assurance of the Deputy Commissioner to resolve the issue of the payment of damage compensation within seven days, the WSH has agreed to suspend the ongoing indefinite bandh of Dansiripar Sub-division,” it stated.
