Our Correspondent Kohima | October 12 Dimapur district today emerged as the champions at the ongoing XXII Inter District & State Table Tennis Championship being played here at the Indoor Table Tennis Stadium, under the aegis of Nagaland Table Tennis Association (NTTA). Kohima district bagged the runners-up. In women’s singles, Thejavinuo Rio defeated Avitoli in the final to emerge as the champion. In junior singles, Dzesevituo Metha claimed the champion’s trophy while Ihubuing stood runners-up. The other category/events will take place on October 13. Meanwhile, the closing ceremony will take place at 3:00 pm on October 13 with Nizheto Awomi, Deputy Director, Youth Resources & Sports as the guest of honour.
