Karbi Anglong, January 28 (MExN): The newly constructed church building of Yimchunger Baptist Fellowship at Borlengri, Karbi Anglong was dedicated on January 26 by Executive Secretary YBBA, Dr SJ Akhum. Speaking at the dedication progamme, Dr Akhum stressed on the importance of church and its purpose and asked the believers to fulfill and follow Gods instruction and its direction for the better growth of the society to glorify His kingdom. He called upon the church elders and believers to shoulder responsibility and work with dedication and commitment for the growth of church and its mission while rendering for the humanity.
Chairman WYBBA, Mukamchim, Principal Pine Mount School Borlengri, President Borlengri Baptist Pastors Fellowship and GB Borlengri Block- 2 Mhontsen Humtsoe also spoke on the occasion. The programme was chaired by Dr James, Pastor YBC Diphupar ‘B’ while welcome address was delivered by pastor YBF Borlenegri, K Mahjih.
The programme was enchanted by Sunday school students while special songs were presented by Women department of Showuba Baptist church and youth department YBF Borlengri. The dedication programme was attended by many members of the western Yimchungru churches and well wishers.
