The (YAA), the apex student’s organization of the Yimchunger community strongly condemn the kidnapping of Public Forum Pungro Sub-Division PFPD President, Shri. H. Kiusumew on 30th of November 2012 at Dimapur by four unidentified miscreants reportedly instigated by Deputy Kilonser of NSCN (IM), R. Kiusangthong for ransom of Rs. 4 Lakhs.
It may be stated that four unidentified persons who entered the house of President, PFPD at Ao Colony Firing Range around 7:40 am kidnapped the latter long with his son who were taken to somewhere behind the side of Faith Hospital and detained for almost two hours demanding Rs. 4 Lahhs and fortunately with the timely intervention of NSCN (IM) Dimapur Town Command, the duo were safely rescued. The action of the unidentified persons directed by high ranking National worker of NSCN (IM) is highly questionable and condemnable by every right thinking citizen at this crucial juncture when Naga Political talks with the Government of India at the highest level are going on and the Naga people as a whole are yearning for peace and permanent solution.
It is pertinent to mention that when the negotiation of vexed Naga political issue is expected to arrive at and all the 60 MLAs irrespective of political party affiliation are paving the way on the one hand and all Naga civil societies and NGO’s doing the best efforts as a contribution for bringing permanent Naga solution, the act and instigation of responsible national worker of NSCN (IM) like R. Kiusangthong Deputy Kilonser threatening and kidnapping of responsible Pungro area public leader is none other than an attempt to hinder the peace process.
Meanwhile, the YAA acknowledge the Town command of NSCN (IM) for the safely rescue of President PFPD and his son with well-time intervention. Firther, the YAA also appeal the State law enforcing agencies to book the culprits at the earliest as per the law of the land and the higher authority of the NSCN (IM) may initiate appropriate disciplinary action against any of its cadres who so ever found to have involved in such fanatic activities who are disrupting the peaceful atmosphere by making unsafe and insecure of innocent public and their leaders.
