JALUKIE, DECEMBER 15 (MExN): The inaugural of the 33rd general conference of Zeliangrong Students Union Nagaland (ZSUN) was held at Jalukie B local ground on December 15 with Metsubo Jamir, Minister for Rural Development as the special guest.
According to a DIPR report, the Minister, in his speech, envisioned a future where progress and development for the tribal community is attained through the foundations of unity in a cohesive community. The Minister also stated that young people are not just the leaders of tomorrow but the change makers of today. He said at the heart of our fabric are our youths and students. They are the fresh threads and full of vigor and potential, waiting to be woven into the intricate tapestry of their communities. He further stated that a future empowering them with education skills, and the freedom to express themselves is akin to strengthening the fabric that we are knitting together.
During the inaugural function, Zeme Students, Liangmai Students & Rongmei Students performed cultural dance and enlightened the gathering. Amonbo Zeliang, convenor, Organising Committee pronounced the welcome address. Rev Heuzie Pastor Jalukie B Baptist Church invoked God's blessing for the 33rd ZSUN session. Kibouwi Zeliang general secretary, ZSUN pronounced the words of gratitude.
