‘Your Favourites Shop’ in Phek Town inaugurated

Phek, April 14 (MExN): ‘Your Favourites Shop’, an undertaking project of the Joyous Self Help Group (SHG) Phek Town, was inaugurated at New Market Complex, Hospital Road, Phek Town by Vechülou Kanuo, Executive Director, Chakhesang Women Welfare Society (CWWS), Pfutsero on April 13.   A press release stated that speaking during the inauguration programme, Vechülou Kanuo appreciated the Joyous SHG for exposing the practical definition of Self Help Group by accommodating oneself being employed and appeals the other SHGs within and outside the district to carry forward this kind of innovative venture. Stating the CWWS always open door to assist these kinds of initiatives, she further urge the Joyous SHG to utilized the project as goodwill mission.

  Joyous SHG Secretary, Hichulo Nusory in her brief report stated, to educate the people to be aware of how to become economically self reliant through local resources, imparting seminar and related training on local products and to expose the importance of god team work were some of the aims and objectives of the group.   Earlier, group President, Akhrole Chizo chaired the function, Tshulhi Khape, Head Deacon, Phek Town Baptist Church invokes God’s blessing, Vekuvolu Rhakho, Member Joyous SHG propose words of gratitude, while Zaposhelu Venuh, President, Chakhesang Mothers’ Association (CMA) pronounced closing prayer followed by a luncheon.
