Dimapur, March 16 (MExN): The New Peren village Youth and the Kejanglwa Youth Organizations has once again reaffirmed and fully supported the unified stand of the three Peren Village Councils regarding the proposed site for the Peren District HQ.
Expressing gratitude and appreciation to the Zeliangrong Baudi and the DAN government under the leadership of Neiphiu Rio for upgrading Peren to a full pledged Distirct and also for proposing Tebam-Hegeilulwa (New Peren-Kejanglwa) as the preferred site for the district HQ, the two organizations also endorsed the stand of the Peren Students Union and Peren Youth Federation as appeared in the local papers on 16th of March.
“We once more assert that the majority of our people endorse the decision of the Baudi and the three Peren Village Councils although unwanted problems had been created by some self-interest vested persons.
The proposed site, which is within our village jurisdiction, is undisputed and offered for the District HQ without any reservations as expressed time and again”, stated a press communiqué issued by Wichap Nring President, Kejanglwa Youth Organization and Chirai Hegui President, New Peren Youth Organization.
“Hence, in this regard the two youth bodies assert that we shall take all responsibilities to see that no further problems are created by self interest vested persons and all concerned persons are requested to support our decision in this matter”, it stated.
