As part of the Inter State Youth Exchange Programme (ISYEP) organised by My bharat (Nerhu Yuva Kendra Sangathan, Nagaland) which got underway at Youth Hostel, Dimapur on January 16, the youth team visiting Nagaland from West Bengal visited local market in Dimapur at Supermarket.
The aim of the visit was to show the local food items and local products of the state to the visiting team.
Officials from My Bharat (NYKS) also took the youth Volunteers to market hubs like Hazi Park and Hongkong Market.
On January 17, officials from NYKS, Nagaland informed that the youths were taken to Medziphema Village. The youths got the opportunity to interact with Medziphema village youths. To enable them to learn about their culture, local food items were prepared and indigenous games were organized. The youths from West Bengal presented cultural items during the session.
After that, the tour proceeded to War Cemetery, Naga Heritage Village, Kisama and 2nd World War Museum at the Naga Heritage Village. 28 Volunteers from West Bengal participated in the Inter State Youth Exchange Programme organized in collaboration with the state.
