‘Youths must prepare for competition’

Tetso College opens City Campus

With the advancement in information technology and communication the world has become a small place where all talents come together on a common platform to be the best and so accordingly our youths must prepare for competition, said R Khing, Advisor for Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Sciences and Women Resources Development.

He was speaking after inaugurating City Campus of Tetso College at HT Square Building near Hotel Grand Tizu, Notun Bosti, Dimapur on July 17.

“Earlier, one degree was enough to make someone a man but now the scenario have completely changed where every individual is a competitor and should be equipped with the right skills and talents,” Khing noted.

He asserted that an institution like Tetso College’s City Campus would guide the students in the right path and encouraged the students to be sincere and dedicated. Khing encouraged the student community to avail the facilities provided at the City Campus.

Briefing about the Campus, Director of Tetso College, Kvulo Lorin informed that the institution would be imparting IAS coaching and financial literacy programmes while also networking with companies to give placement to the students.

He said the institution has tied up with ALS Coaching Centre Delhi to provide coaching to aspiring candidates in different competitions. Besides, the college has also channeled with Pune-based Sapient Wealth to impart financial literacy programmes free of cost, Kvulo added. Kvulo said that by opening a city campus, the college aims to start high breed learning programmes adding that coaching programmes had already started two years back.
