Dignitaries and others during the annual general meeting of Zale SHG Women Federation on April 22.
Kohima, April 24 (MExN): The Zale SHG Women Federation, Chetheba Block, NSRLM, Phek District, successfully conducted its 1st Annual General Meeting on April 22 at the Multi-Purpose Hall at Thenyizu Village.
The meeting was attended by 2 representatives from each SHG with a total number of 260 SHG members. Tsovolu Medeo, Vice President of the Federation, chaired the Program.
In his keynote address, Senovielhou Koza, BPM BMMU Chetheba, highlighted the purpose of the event and the objectives and vision of the NSRLM.
Guest speaker Nezelu Nyekha, Executive Director of Chakhesang Women Welfare Society, discussed the positive outcomes and challenges of being in the SHG, encouraging the Federation to be growth-oriented and move forward together.
During the second session, the Annual Action Plan (AAP) of Cluster Level Federation (CLF), the Village Level Organization (VLO) and the Business Development Plan (BDP) were approved by the attendees. The meeting concluded with the election of new office bearers.
