Imphal, January 15 (MExN): Zeliangrong Baudi (Assam, Manipur & Nagaland) has condemned the killing of Dikhuanang and serious injury of three other persons caused by “indiscriminate firing” at Khumji village (Lukhambi) on January 12. A press release from Dr. Gairiangmei Maringmei, General Secretary, ZB (AMN) lamented that such firing incident is not the first time in the Zeliangrong inhabited areas and that many innocent persons have been killed similarly. Therefore, it appealed to all the persons involved in the act of killing of innocent civilians not to repeat the same in the Zeliangrong inhabited areas. “We also urge the State Government and concerned department to provide life security to protect its citizens,” it added.
