Peren, July 29 (MExN): The Zeliangrong Naga National Workers of NNC (Parent Body) has issued an apology to N Kitovi Zhimomi, Convenor, Working Committee, NNPGs for matters related meeting convened by NNC-PB ZLR-Region on June 20.
In the apology letter issued by its General Secretary TR Philip Rongmei, the NNC-PB, ZLR-R said that it convened a meeting with various civil societies at Punglwa village.
“In the meeting various issues were discussed for the betterment of the Naga and the Zeliangrong in particular. It also reaffirmed to give full co-operation and support to the NNPGS as well,” it said.
However, in the course of discussion and deliberation, the question of delimitation cropped up with some members from civil society raising question the issue.
“As such it was published on 3rd July 2020 (local newspaper) in media in full support of delimitation,” it added.
In this connection, the Zeliangrong Naga National workers clarified that their goal is to achieved for early “Naga Peace Political solution and not as rendered in the press media.”
“Last, but not the least, the ZLR-NNC workers humbly seek apology from W/C NNPGs for error in the publication and the damaged done to the NNPGs W/C guidelines and norms,” it added.
