Dimapur, May 17 (MExN): The Zeme Council Dimapur (ZCD) has expressed grief over the demise of its senior member AK Lungalang on May 13.
Late Lungalang was a torch bearer to the younger generation, a tall public leader and a man of integrity who was driven to give his best as a social worker, stated a condolence note issued by ZCD President, Ngauloi John and General Secretary, Asungbe N Hau.
He was true patriot who served the Nation wholeheartedly with full commitment, sincerity and dedication while rendering his service for the cause of the Naga National movement till his last, it said.
The demise has created a huge vacuum in the society and the ZCD has lost a valuable senior citizen who still had so much to contribute, it added.
The ZCD also conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed that the Almighty to grant comfort to them at this hour of grief and further prayed for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.
