Dimapur, June 16 (MExN): The Zeliang People’s Organisation Dimapur (ZPOD) conducted its installation programme for the tenure 2020-2025, by handing and taking over of the files on June 15, at Zeliang Welfare building, Dimapur.
The programme was held in the presence of Ngauloibe, President Zeme Council Dimapur and Widinbou, President Liangmai Council Dimapur. It was attended by the President and General Secretary of Zeliang Woman Organisation Dimapur, Zeliang Students Union Dimapur and Ex official of ZPOD and the newly elected office bearers.
The new team of office bearers will be led by Heikim Meru as President, Ngauloibe and Widinbou asVice President and Kedinlung Newmai as General Secretary. A team of executives and advisors were also elected.
Further, the house has also resolved to include the President and General Secretary of ZWOD and ZSUD to be the executive member of ZPOD by virtue.
