Zunheboto, September 9 (MExN): Under the initiative of the Zunheboto Range Students’ Union (ZRSU), the Zunheboto Town Weekly Market (Friday Bazaar) was officially inaugurated at Town Hall on September 9.
ZRSU in a press release stated that the main objective of this imitative is to promote local entrepreneurs, to provide a business platform for small and local enterprises and to encourage the use of organic products. Small and local businesses can greatly contribute to local economies by bringing growth and innovation to the community in which the business is established and can also help stimulate economic growth by providing employment opportunities to people.
The weekly market was officially inaugurated by Kashito Yepthomi, President Sumi Kukami Hoho, dedication prayer was pronounced by Hinoto Achumi, Associate Pastor SBCZ and the programme was chaired by Gihuka K Zhimo, President, ZRSU.
The programme was attended by members from Sumi Kukami Hoho, Sumi Totimi Hoho, Sumi Kiphimi Kuqhakulu, Zunheboto Area Public Organization, Zunheboto Town GBs Association, Zunheboto Area GBs Association, Zunheboto Town Sumi Totimi Loka, Zunheboto Area Sumi Totimi Loka, Zunheboto Area Sports Association, ZRSU officials and Local Vendors.
The weekly market will be functioning every Friday at Town Hall, therefore, citizens are informed to avail the opportunity to shop and trade through this establishment.
