DIMAPUR, APRIL 25 (MExN): The Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF) has announced a major reshuffling of its cabinet ranks during its general meeting held in Dimapur.
In a resolution adopted by the House, several members were unanimously appointed to new portfolios. H. Kamson has been named Home Minister, while Franky Golmei will serve as the Minister of Information and Publicity. Botalak was appointed Defence Minister, and Namdungkuang was named Minister for War Victims. Guihiabe will take charge as Chaplain cum Social Welfare Minister, and Azua has been appointed Convener of the Advisory Board. Nguiba has been designated Principal Secretary.
The ZUF also resolved to grant full authority and power to the Finance Department over the Zeliangrong Tiger Force (ZTF).
In a message to the newly inducted leaders, the House extended its best wishes, urging them to serve the ZUF government and the Zeliangrong people with "dedication, sincerity, and selfless sacrifice."
The ZUF further appealed to the people of Zeliangrong — including Khunbu, Khulla, village authorities, churches, civil society organizations (CSOs), and neighboring communities — to extend their fullest cooperation in promoting mutual understanding and unity.
The meeting concluded with the slogan "Zeliangrong Ringtelou," reaffirming solidarity among the Zeliangrong community.
