Zunheboto, January 21 (MExN): The Office of the District Welfare Officer, Zunheboto, has issued notification for all beneficiaries of the National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP) in the district.
The notice, dated January 13, 2025, informed the beneficiaries that the grace period for physical verification and pension payment has been fixed from January 21 to 31, 2025.
During this period, all NSAP beneficiaries are required to appear in person at the designated verification centers. Beneficiaries must bring the following documents for the verification process: Payment Booklet, Aadhaar Card, Bank Passbook and Mobile Number.
This verification process is crucial to ensure that the pensions are disbursed correctly and that only eligible individuals continue to receive the benefits.
The District Welfare Officer, Zunheboto stated that “lf beneficiary fails to appear for physical verification on the stipulated date without any valid reasons, his or her pension shall be considered as bogus.”
