10 MT Cold Room inaugurated at Pfutsero

Kohima, September 26 (MExN): A 10 MT Cold Room was inaugurated on September 25 at T.Chikri Pfutsero under Chakhesang Women Multi Purpose Cooperative Society Ltd. It was inaugurated by Wepe Ritse, Registrar of Co-Operative Societies, Nagaland.

Speaking on the occasion, Ritse challenged the organisation to create more awareness to the farmers by producing surplus products and encouraged farmers to make the best use of the provided facility.

The Cold Room was funded by department of co-operation under RKVY.

The programme was chaired by Vechulou Kanuo, chairperson, Chakhesang Women MPCS Ltd while Rev. Khrotso Mero, Executive Secretary, Chakhesang Baptist Church Council (CBCC) pronounced dedicatory prayer.
