12 Battalion NDRF Itanagar imparts training

Wokha, April 12 (DIPR): A 30 member team from 12 Battalion NDRF (National Disaster Response Force) Itanagar will be imparting training on disaster management awareness preparedness and demonstration of its tools and equipments for local people.  

Topics on MFR (Medical first responder) CSSR (Collapsed structure search & rescue), school safety training, urban search & rescue, earthquake, flood, land slide and community responders will be covered during the five day training programme. There will be an interaction session with team.

  The team also had a short meeting with the Deputy Commissioner, Wokha A.Robin Lotha at his official chamber. While welcoming the team, the DC expressed gratitude for taking out time to impart trainings to various NGOs and expressed hope that whatever knowledge the team is going to impart will definitely benefit the district.  

Team leader Asstt Commandant 12 BN, NDRF, Ajay Bahadur Singh also apprised the Deputy Commissioner about the various topics to be covered during the five day programme.  

On the first day the team will impart training to SDRF (State Disaster Response Force), second day Don Bosco Higher secondary school, third day NGOs and community Responders and final day de-briefing for all the trainees will be conducted.
