Kohima, February 3 (MExN): The 4th season of the MPL will officially kick off from February 5 in Kohima. MPL is a ‘one-of-a-kind league’ where the players, all 30 years of age or above, slog it out for 5 months with 90 matches in total. The annual league will saw the participation of 10 teams this year. The 10 teams are: Morning Football Club, Amur Falcon Football Club, Mrh.FC, Mrh.Sunrisers, Morung United FC, All Blacks, GeThemGo FC, Silver White, Mustang FC and Zeikezou Seniors. Organised and managed by the Morning Football Association (MFA), MPL was started in 2015 with the objective of inculcating health consciousness, friendship and sportsmanship through football.
