Phek, October 21 (MExN): Academic and Administrative Audit (AAA), Department of Higher Education, Government of Nagaland inspected Phek Government College on October 20 for assessment of the college performance for National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
The inspection team comprised of Convenor Dr Ranjan Kumar Behera, Dr Vitsosie Viiprii and HK James as members. During the session, Principal, Dr Vizovol Mekro presented an academic report of the college followed by an interaction with the IQAC members.
Later, presentations were made by the eleven departments. The team members also held separate interactions with the non-teaching staffs, alumni and the student’s body.
The team members inspected various infrastructural facilities like mushroom cultivation unit, floriculture, skill centre, IGNOU, amphitheatre, botanical garden, science laboratory, library etc.
The visit concluded with an exit meeting where the AAA members delivered their observations and assessment of the day.
