Mokokchung, November 20 (DIPR): ADC Mokokchung, W. Manpai Phom has instructed 3 (three) newly established villages under Mokokchung district to bifurcate population, eligible voters, beneficiaries under Rural Development department etc. from their respective parent villages. The three newly recognized villages are: Merayim under ADC Mangkolemba, Chubarongpang under ADC Tuli and Alongtaki under EAC Longchem, ADC Mangkolemba.
ADC Mokokchung further informed ADC Mangkolemba and Tuli to give instruction to the newly recognized villages to furnish the necessary information at the earliest for onward submission to the government.
The state government has recently accorded recognition to the 42 newly established villages including three from Mokokchung district through a notification, dated October 12, 2017.
