Adda FC to promote talents

Kohima, August 1 (MExN): It was the year 2005 when a group of young players from Dapfütsumia Khel of Kohima Village entered the Ziekezou Football Tournament under the Team ‘D Khel Boys’ to participate and also challenge themselves to compete with the best Clubs and Players of Kohima. After participating for two years, the team was renamed as ‘Addax Football Club’ in 2007 and thus emerged a club which has been part of most tournaments in Kohima.   From its humble beginnings, Addax FC has been self financed by club members and also through generous and free-will contributions, support and guidance from various individuals. Thus the club’s logo features ‘Three feathers’ representing, ‘Charity’, ‘Faith’ and ‘Hope‘.   The club takes pride in promoting local talents, supporting the players and also guiding the youth to become better disciplined, more responsible and most importantly, good contributing citizens. The club strives to give its best for the beautiful game of football and their passion and commitment on and off the field has been second to none.   While trophies and accolades have eluded the Club, Addax FC is thrilled to be a part of the up-coming Kohima Football League 2017. The club has pledged to abide by the Rules and Regulations of the League and to honour the League through Fair Play and Disciplinary representation.   Addax FC will be led by Neivotuo Yiese as Manager and David Rutsa as Head Coach; Zeu Kire and Petevilie Keretsü will be the Coach and Asst Coach respectively.
