Artists to perform at The Joy Of Giving charity concert for education

To raise funds for providing education to underprivileged children living around Supermarket Area Dimapur under ‘The Joy Of Giving’ programme, several Naga artists will perform at a charity concert here on Saturday, January 7.   ‘The Joy Of Giving’ is an ambitious project which is spearheaded by young artists, entrepreneurs, social workers, and visionaries who have a desire to impact society through educating and mentoring underprivileged children.     joy of giving   The concert is in association with Hope Centre for Excellence, a premier music and performing arts institute in Nagaland. Artists Nise Meruno, Aren and Lydia Longchari, Renbeni Odyuo, Kekhrie Ringa, Thunglamo Ngullie, Asin Shurhozelie, Koramensang Aier, Sophia Mozhui, Yanzo Kikon, Lanutemsu Lemtor will perform respectively at the charity concert titled "The Joy Of Giving 2017" to be held Aiko Greens, H.K.Khulu Road, Purana Bazaar, Dimapur at 6:00 PM. The first ballerinas of Nagaland will also be performing.   It may be mentioned that this is the third season of the charity concert which is dedicated solely towards the education of underprivileged children. In 2014, the first concert was successfully held at the premises of The Garden, Supermarket area Dimapur. The funds generated from the concert supported the schooling expenses of 15 children. Following this, the second Joy Of Giving concert also successfully managed to sponsor 24 underprivileged children. Through The Joy of Giving, interested doners have the opportunity to partner by either fully sponsoring a child or one time giving of any amount, volunteer to assist in the weekly meetings with the children, or simply spread the word and invite friends to join the cause.   Come be a part of The Joy Of Giving to witness and feel the true joy of giving!
