ATMA Kohima conduct orientation training

Kohima, August 2 (MExN): ATMA Kohima district conducted an orientation training programme for ATMA functionaries on August 2 at DAO conference hall, Kohima. The programme was chaired by Rokoshuno Angela, Dy. PD, ATMA Kohima. Vizonyü Liezie, DAO & PD (ATMA) welcomed all the new ATMA functionaries. He highlighted the rules and regulations that need to be followed. Experience sharing was presented by Vimenuo Mere, BTM, Jakhama block and Kelumyizoile, ATM, ATMA, Chiephobozou block. They shared about their duties in the field and the knowledge they gained from working with the farmers.  

The first technical session “Understanding ATMA” was presented by Visizolie Virie, Dy PD (ATMA). He highlighted the purpose of extension programmes, the organizational structures of ATMA, the work plan and flow of fund. The second session “Role & Responsibility of ATMA” was presented by Rokoshuno Angela, Dy.PD (ATMA), Kohima. She briefed about the roles and duties of BTMs and ATMs. The BTMs & ATMs should coordinate with the BTT Convener and work accordingly. The third session‘Accounts related matter’ was presented by Thepfvüvizo, Accountant, ATMA, Kohima. He highlighted the three quarterly instalments in one financial year. The activities photos, APR receipts should be submitted after the completion of every instalment activities. Account details of Farmers’ Friend and Farm School Teacher should be furnished for Direct Benefit transfer. The fourth session “Extension Reform Monitoring system (ERMS)” was presented by Senchulo Magh, Computer Programmer, ATMA, Kohima. He gave an online presentation on uploading data in the web portal. The block functionaries have to upload the monthly progress report in the ERMS web portal for online monitoring.
