Chief Minister of Nagaland, Neiphiu Rio with Union Minister for Commerce & Industry and Civil Aviation Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu on June 18 in New Delhi.
New Delhi, June 18 (MExN): Union Minister for Commerce & Industry and Civil Aviation Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu today assured that a technical team will soon be sent to do necessary assessment for the final approval of Greenfield Airport at Ciethu, Kohima at the earliest.
The assurance was made to the Chief Minister of Nagaland, Neiphiu Rio, who had met the Union Minister at the latter’s office at Rajiv Gandhi Bhavan, New Delhi.
The Chief Minister had apprised the Union Minister on the Greenfield Airport at Ciethu and requested him to look into the matter, according to a press release from Kuolie Mere, PRO (IPR), Nagaland House, New Delhi.
The two discussed various issues regarding civil aviation and air connectivity in Nagaland.
The Chief Minister was accompanied by Chief Secretary of Nagaland Temjen Toy and Principal Resident Commissioner of Nagaland House, New Delhi Jyoti Kalash.
