Departments felicitated for digitization of Hornbill Festival

Kohima, December 2 (DIPR): The Departments of Information & Public Relations, Tourism, and Information Technology & Communication were felicitated by Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd. on December 2 at Naga Heritage Village, Kisama for digitization of Hornbill Festival 2017.  

Business Manager, Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd. Kohima, Moatemsu Imkong in his speech said that the Government of Nagaland along with Reliance Jio has taken the Hornbill Festival towards a digital platform. The Departments of IPR, Tourism and IT have set up a communication channel on mobile app “Jio chat” in the name of ‘Nagaland Hornbill Festival’, it was informed. People from across the globe can get access to live streaming, video clips and photographs of major events at Naga Heritage Village, Kisama on ‘Jio chat’.  

Congratulating the three departments for working tirelessly towards achieving the purpose, he also looked forward to such associations in future as well.  

Director IPR, Limawati Ao, Director Tourism, K. Sekhose and Additional Director & HOD IT&C, Tongtiliba Longkumer received the certificates of appreciation on behalf of the respective departments.
