Kohima, September 5 (MExN): The Governor of Nagaland, PB Acharya has extended appreciation to Sushant Singh Rajput for the kind and generous gesture towards the people of Nagaland. In an appreciation letter addressed to the actor, he stated that “the contribution of Rs 1.25 Crore towards the Nagaland CM’s Relief Fund was really encouraging and expressed confidence that people will follow the good gesture and come forward to help Nagaland at this crucial hour.” We require help and assistance of large hearted people of our country to rebuild the affected lives, Governor Acharya further added.
Meanwhile, the Governor also congratulated Abu Metha on being selected by the United States Government to participate in a special exchange program “Regional Project for Asia Pacific, South & Central Asia” under the aegis of the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP). “I am sure your participation in this program will benefit our Country India in formulating policies for the overall development of the Country” Governor Acharya stated.
