Kohima, November 16 (MExN): Innovative Change Collaborative Services Private Limited (ICCSPL) in partnership with YouthNet held the Green Business Challenge (GBC) 2017 Kohima Road show, at YouthNet’s Center of Excellence for Entrepreneurship, Billy Graham road, opposite Kohima College, Nagaland.

The Green Business Challenge this year is classified into two: Clean Energy and Agri-business. A challenge where start-ups, entrepreneurs and NGOs with business models interested or working on Clean Energy initiatives could attend from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, and the Agribusiness session will be held from 2:30 pm onwards.

A press release received here stated that the Challenge is aimed to enable the start-ups/entrepreneurs/NGOs with innovative ideas to address today’s ‘Agriculture’ and ‘Clean energy’ challenges, focusing on the Eastern & the North Eastern region of India. The platform also provides a unique networking opportunity for agri/clean-enterprises, investors, leading agri/clean business professionals from the government, non-government and private sector.

In order to further upscale agri-food chains, and off-grid clean energy technologies in India, the right ecosystem needs to be in place. In this context, the challenge looks at ways of upgrading the ecosystem by empowering enterprises and integrating them in strategic partnerships, including impact investments. The road show in Kohima serves as an opportunity to showcase the enterprising Nagaland to the mainland India.
