Dimapur | March 23
In the continued endeavor to keep the Christian missionaries advancement active and most importantly, “making it a reality”, a mission school under the banner Harvest School of Missions will be held from April 1 to 30 at Life Spring Corner, Dimapur.
The 30 days residential school is jointly organised by Iris Global- a Christian mission organization, founded by Rolland and Heidi Baker in partnership with AHA (Asia Harvest Alliance) - a network of churches and ministries.
Heart of Harvest School of Missions
Talking about the “heart” of the Harvest School of Missions, the School Head, Geen Vargese said that it is about breeding a new generation of missionaries and rising up doers of good ideas. “We want to bring up a generation of missionaries who would see the situation through love and bring change in people’s heart. We want people to be good at what they are called for and become light of love to the world,” he stated while addressing the media fraternity at the press conference held at the Father’s House Church, Dimapur on Thursday.
Why another mission school in Nagaland
Sharing about the reason behind the school, one of the AHA members said, “Nagaland is strategically placed and there is so much potential in Nagaland but there is no result. We are just here to play our part in rising up missionaries who are motivated by love.”
“Churches, organisations, individuals in Nagaland are already working towards the fulfillment of the “great commission” and this school is an addition and contribution towards the same vision,” another member expressed. He also added that there is a great flow of missionaries going out today and there is an urgency to do more. Attending the school will be good for people who are already in the mission filed to get refreshed, he said.

The oragnisers have informed that equal focus will be given on both theory and practical. The school will not be just classroom teachings but the students will be given exposure to do practical assignments, community development service.
