HIRC 2017: Nine bands to battle in grand finale

Nine bands will vie for top honours at the grand finale of this year’s Hornbill International Rock Contest (HIRC) 2017 at the Agri Expo, 4th Mile, Dimapur on Friday. The bands will be competing for a total cash prize of Rs. 18.5 lakhs in addition to music gears and gift hampers for winners in the individual category.

 

Cash prizes of Rs. 10 lakh and Rs. 5 lakh for the winners for the first two winners is sponsored by the Government of Nagaland while the 2nd runner’s up prize of Rs. 3.5 lakh is being sponsored by Mahindra.

 

The grand finale of the Hornbill International Rock contest 2017 will be hosted by Moanungsang with last year’s HIRC winner band making a special appearance on December 8.

Perfect Stick Figure Illustrations (Gangtok)
