INTCWS visits universities and colleges

DIMAPUR, APRIL 16 (MExN): India Northeast Tribal Community Welfare Society (INTCWS) under the aegis of Libra Consultancy, its education wing located at Notun Bosti, Dimapur, visited universities, medical and technology colleges and other professional institutes in different states of India from April 1 to 12 “for the welfare and benefit of tribal students.”  

It was the society’s 10th annual inspection of colleges. The places included Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Dehradun, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, and Delhi Public School in Delhi and NCR Region.  

A press release from Sabalu, INTCWS joint secretary informed that the society has inspected a total of 361 universities, colleges and schools in India till date. “These colleges have provided few seats in medical, engineering, schools and other professional courses and reserved seats for tribal students with both high and low percentage also,” it said.  

Some of these universities and colleges contribute staff salaries, advertisement expenses, while Swami Vivekananda College Punjab has donated a computer set with laser printer towards the society’s office for the benefit of tribal students, the release added.
