Mokokchung, January 14 (MExN): The Aongza Ward Yimden (Local Authority), Mokokchung town held an Interactive Session with Temsutula Imsong and husband Shailesh Pandey on Saturday at the Treasurer’s residence. The couple works together for a cleaner India with ‘Shramdaan’ under Mission Parijat.
Temsutula Imsong, the lady who is praised by Varanasi and the country for cleaning the ghats with her NGO ‘Sakaaar’ interacted with members of the Aongza Ward Authority, members of the Youth Association Aongza and Aongza Ward Socio Environment Management Board.
Temsutula shared her initial experiences and encouraged the citizens of Aongza ward for the formation of the Socio Environment Management Board which comprises of the men, women folk and youths and challenged all to work out the problems on sanitation and waste management.
She encouraged all households to separate dry and wet waste and utilize the wet waste as compost through simple techniques as ‘Aerobic Composting’ or ‘Vermicomposting’.
