Kiphire District Aspiration Review meeting held

Kiphire, July 3 (MExN): The Kiphire District Aspiration Review meeting was held at Conference hall, Deputy Commissioner’s Office on July 3, stated a DIPR report. Deputy Commissioner, Kiphire Mohammad Ali Shihab, IAS called upon the officers to be serious in their work and sought cooperation in order to take Kiphire District forward.  

SDO Civil Kiphire, Wilfred gave a power point presentation and highlighted on the aspiration of the district. He shared about the indicators, monitoring and computation of backward index to follow the developmental work programme. Wilfred also said that District five years action plan is the strength of the community. He also spoke on understanding convergence, Health, infrastructure.  

Wilfred highlighted that the most important and said that in Kiphire there is not proper functioning of Lap in the district is the biggest challenge facing he said. He also said that in the aspirational hope in which the district have to come out with aspiring work to the state and Central Ministries and department for the further support and help.   

At the meeting, the tribal Hoho of YTC Kiphire district Shelimthong and Vice president USLB Administrator Tsilise and Public information Secretary Eastern Sumi Hoho Obeka spoke on behalf of the hoho where he requested the District officers to inform them of any untoward incident faced by the officers so that Hoho will give their full cooperation and helping hand.  

Health & Family Welfare Department led by Additional Director, Medical Department attended the Kiphire Aspiring review meeting. The Additional Director in his short speech requested the Public Health and Engineering (PHED) Department to give proper water connection in the new medical hospital building on priority basis. Personal Secretary to the Minister Soil & Water Conservation Geology & Mining, Chopise Sangtam spoke on behalf of the Minister.  

Different departments in the district under aspiring presented their department profile highlighting their work process which is in the pipeline.
