KLSU 44th Fresher's Day held

Kohima, September 10 (MExN): The Kohima Lotha Student's Union (KLSU) commemorated its 44th Fresher's Day on September 9 at Molui Ki Hall, Paramedical, Kohima with Dr. Chumben Murry, former minister as chief guest and Echungbemo Erui, EAC Yongnyah sub-division as the guest of honour.   The chief guest in his address encouraged the students to develop and enhance their ability through the platform provided. Speaking on the theme 'Incredible Lothas,' he stressed that Lothas are blessed with many unique talents. He encouraged the students to avail the opportunities and strive towards excellence.   Meanwhile, the guest of honour laid emphasis on the competitive generation and asked the students to be skillful and ready to compete with others. We all must be an agent to serve and not to be served, he asserted.   Kohima Lotha Hoho general secretary and Lotha Student's Union president, Libemo Tsopoe also spoke on the occasion, which saw a cultural dance from Lotha Student's Union St. Joseph's College, Jakhama.   Liyanthung Kikon and Ajanbeni Ovung bagged the titles of KLSU 2017 Mr. and Miss Freshers respectively.
