DIMAPUR, JANUARY 18 (MExN): The Konyak Union, Tobu Branch has expressed disappointment over the delay of the Nagaland state government’s decision on retention of Mopong EAC circle under ADC Tobu even after all views and comments from the stakeholders and verification report from the administrative officers have been collected. In a press statement, the Union stated that since the beginning, the Mopong circle has been under Tobu administration and that the two circle has been living together as ‘one family’ and it is the desire of the citizen of Mopong circle and Tobu to continue the same. In this connection, the Union has stated that it would boycott the Republic Day celebration under Tobu administration if the state government fails to comply with their demand for retention of Mopong circle under Tobu administration on or before January 25, 2020.
