KPU proposed stir on hold

Dimapur, November 18 (MExN): The Kandi Public Union (KPU) has put on hold its scheduled indefinite agitation from November 20 after the Government of Nagaland decided to constitute a 4-member committee on RD Block Chunlikha imbroglio and an appeal made by the concerned department. It was decided during its emergency meeting held on November 18, informed KPU in a press note issued by its Press & Media Cell. Honoring the decision of the government and keeping the festive season in mind, KPU suspended the agitation till further notifications, it said. It also expressed hope and faith the committee will make decision which will be of benefit and welfare of the community at large.
