The 9th General Conference, 2018 of the Liangmai Naga Katimai Ruangdi, LNKR (All Liangmai Naga Students’ Union) concluded on Friday at Oklong village under Senapati district. The conference began on January 30 evening.
A large number of Liangmai youths participated in the mega event where Awangbow Newmai, MLA from Tamei assembly constituency was the chief guest, Dr Namthiurai Daimai, Principal of Tamenglong College was the guest of honour and Linda Newmai, Advisory Panel Member of National Rural Livelihood Mission (Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India) was the president.
Cultural dance display, Voice hunt, literary event, games, Miss Liangmai contest, choreography shows, traditional attire display, individual game competition and presentation from noted Liangmai artistes were some of the features of the conference.
