Little Star Hr. Secondary School (LSHSS), Dimapur ushered in the freshers of both Arts and Science stream with a grand function at the school hall on August 4
Held under the theme "Success is a Journey, Not a Destination,” the function started with opening address by the school Principal Christina Neikhrienuo, Principal, where she welcomed the Judges, guests, and everyone present.
The highlight of the day was the crowing of the Miss Fresher 2018 and Mr. Fresher 2018. After several round of assessment, Therhuseto Nakhro of 11 Science was decalred as Mr. Fresher 2018 while Crystalyn Paira of 11 Arts was crowned the as Miss Fresher 2018.
The title of Miss Ethnic went to Dziesekhrienuo of Class 11 Arts and the title of Mr. Ethnic went to Aman Giri, Class 11 Science.
The titles of Miss Congeniality and Mr. Congeniality were chosen by the students themselves through secret voting. Ajungla of 11 Arts was chosen as Miss Congeniality and Caleb Awongshi was chosen as Mr. Congeniality.
Simon Mech of Class 11 Science was adjudged Star Talent of the Year with his enthralling solo Beatbox performance.
The event concluded with a word of thanks by LSHSS Chairman, Nini Sekhose.
