Musicians’ Studio Kohima annual recital 2019 held

Musicians’ Studio Kohima, an institute of Music Academy and Jam Pad observed its annual recital event on August 31 last at Red Cross Complex, Kohima.

The institute director Kezevilie Zinyü said the annual recital event aim to improve the stage performance of the students, to master their skills and to be prepared for their upcoming international graded exams.

The recital showcased some of the striking performance ranging from a variety of styles and performers including guitar, violinist, keyboards, drum and vocal. Chenithung Kikon compered the show.

Musicians’ Studio started in 2015 with the motto ‘Appreciating music’. The studio aims to provide a place of learning music the right way to the aspiring students and provide to the musicians and bands with a jam room. 

The Academy produces about 10 qualified musicians through internationally graded exams yearly. The Studio records about 500 students each year.
