Myanmar minister calls to promote & develop to ethnic group

  Our Correspondent Kohima | September 23   Sai Kyaw Zaw, minister, Ministry of Ethnic Affairs, Mandalay Region, Union of Myanmar today said that out of seven sister states of the north east, Nagaland, Mizoram, Manipur and Arunachal Pradesh have a land route border with Myanmar and both countries have cultural relationship since long time.   He said after the formation of new democracy government in 2015 election, state counselor Daw Aung Sa Suu Kiyi wanted to develop cultural relation to the ethnic people and open Ethnic Affairs Union minister office in Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar.   “Our main motive is to promote and develop to the ethnic group by cultural, education and health,” said Zaw while speaking at the valedictory function of the two day long North East Connectivity Summit here.   He led 21 delegations of Myanmar to this summit.   Describing Kohima as “beautiful place,” he also appreciated the Nagaland Vision 2030 and conveyed best wishes for its successful implementation.   On behalf of Myanmar government, he also extended invitation to Nagaland government, businessmen to visit Myanmar for cultural and business relation.
