DC Kohima notifies
Kohima, January 25 (MExN): DC Kohima and DLCC Chairman, Gregory Thejagwelie has notified that in exercise of the power conferred by Section 21, 24 and 25 of the Cigarettes and other Tobacco products (Prohibition of advertisement and regulation of the trade and commerce, production, supply and distribution) Act 2003, the seized tobacco products from the violators of Section 6 (COTPA 2003) will be destroyed at the KMC dumping site (towards Meriema Village) on January 29 at 11:00 am. The Deputy Commissioner has requested all the concerned members to be present on the mentioned date.
NSCN (IM) recovers 2 bikes
Hebron, January 25 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) has recovered two bikes: a black color Apache RTR 160 bearing Chassis number M0634BE43H2G06882 & Engine number BE4GH2106822 and a red Pulsar 180 bearing Chassis number MD2DHJCZZPCB0660 & Engine number UCGBRB06620 respectively. In a press statement issued by the MIP, the rightful owners may come and claim the recovered bikes by producing proper documents during office hour at the Union Territory (UT) office within a week from the date of publication of the news. NSCN (IM) special prayer service on January 27
Dimapur, January 25 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) has informed that a Special Prayer Service will be held on January 27 at 11:00 am (instead of usual service timing at 09:00 am) at CHQ Church Hebron. In a notification issued by General Secretary, Council of Nagalim Churches (CNC) Rev Seksim Kasar, during the service hour, a special prayer will be placed for the vacuum places created by the demise of Chairman Isak Chishi Swu and Vice Chairman General Kholi Konyak. “God alone can provide the true leaders who shall lead the people with all integrity and fairness,” it said. The CNC has requested all the NSCN members to join the prayer service.
Kohima DPDB meeting
Kohima, January 25 (MExN): District Planning Officer Kohima, Pudusul Luho has informed all the members of Kohima DPDB that the meeting will be held on January 29 at the DPDB Conference Hall. Luho in a press release has requested all the DPDB members to attend the meeting.
