IPPI in Mokokchung on Jan 19
Mokokchung, January 14 (MExN): DPO, RCH & UIP, Mokokchung, Dr. Ayangla Saku has informed that the next Intensive Pulse Polio Immunization (IPPI) for children below the age of 5 years will be held on January 19 at Mokokchung Town. Therefore, parents and adults have been asked to ensure that all children between 0-5 years receive the Polio drops on the day at the nearest IPPI Booths.
National integration tour flagged off
Dimapur, January 14 (MExN): In order to give exposure to students of the State about the history, diverse culture and ongoing development in other parts of the country, Jalukie Battalion under the aegis of IGAR (N) flagged-off a national integration tour on January 14. As per a press release from Lt Col, L Vincent Patton, PRO, HQ IGAR (N), the touring group comprises of 20 students (ten girls and ten boys) studying in Government High School Athibung, St Xavier School and ARPS Jalukie accompanied by two teachers. The team will be visiting ICG Kolkata over the period of one week from January 14 to 22.
Pughoboto SDPDB meet approves ‘Government Employees’ Award’
Pughoboto, January 14 (MExN): Pughoboto Sub Division Planning Board & development meeting was held with Vice chairman SDPDB Chairman T Moa Lemtor at the DB’s court hall, Pughoboto on January 14. SDO(C),Tiayanger Jamir reviewed the last meeting. To motivate the employees of Pughoboto Sub-division, the board discussed and approved to give “Government Employees’ Award” for Pughoboto Sub-Division by 2020 onwards. In regard of this award, the HoD under Pughoboto division have been asked to submit two employees to the ADC Pughoboto office latest by first week of July 2020 to be award to sincere employees on August 15. Therefore, he directed all the departments to mandatory attend the forthcoming Republic day.He also apprised the people to attend the National Voters’ day on January 25.The board also apprised to all the departments and the citizens of Pughoboto that social work will be conducted on January 24.
