DoSE informs school heads

Kohima, January 22 (MExN): The Directorate of School Education has informed heads of schools whose students secured first, second and third positions in the Nagaland Online Evaluation Phases I, II & III, to collect Certificates of Appreciation and the Cash Awards from Directorate of School Education, Kohima (Room No.411) during office hours from January 25 onwards.  Concerned students/parents/representatives may also collect the Certificates and Cash Awards by producing authorization letter issued by the respective school heads, the DoSE informed on Friday. 

UGC seeks suggestions for ABC Scheme 

Dimapur, January 22 (MExN): The University Grants Commission (UGC), Ministry of Education has constituted a Committee to develop a detailed scheme along with the implementation strategy on the innovative concept of Academic Bank Credits (ABC). Stating that the objective of the ABC Regulations was to facilitate students’ mobility across the higher education system, the UGC has requested stakeholders to submit suggestion, if any, to abcregulations2021@gmail.com on or before February 5.

DC Mokokchung informs 
on Republic Day function

Mokokchung, January 22 (MExN): All government employees posted within Mokokchung town have been directed to compulsorily attend the Republic Day celebration at Imkongmeren Sports Complex, 8:40 am on January 26. In the case of the public and various organisations, Mokokchung Deputy Commissioner Limawabang Jamir has informed that a maximum of five from each organization is invited to attend the programme, in view of the situation owing to the COVID-19 pandemic and the need for avoiding large gatherings. All attendees have been asked to compulsorily wear face mask and follow COVID-19 related guidelines.

Kohima DC office informs on R-Day passes and invitations

Kohima, January 22 (MExN): The office of the Deputy Commissioner Kohima has informed all Head of Departments (HoDs), Invitees and Awardees to collect the invitation card and car passes for the forthcoming 72th Republic Day celebration from Deputy Commissioner’s office on January 23 between 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and on January 25 during office hours.

Compulsory attendance during Republic Day celebration

Kohima, January 22 (MExN): Officers and staff of the Nagaland Civil Secretariat (NCS) have been directed to compulsorily attend the 72nd Republic Day celebration at the NCS plaza on January 26. The staff may use the Secretariat buses, which will start from their respective pick up points at 8:00 AM January 26, the DIPR informed on Friday. The officials of the Secretariat have also been directed to attend the evening programme at the Secretariat Plaza. All Administrative Head of Departments have been requested to make arrangements for taking the attendance of their respective staff and submit the attendance sheet while Supervisors have been tasked with taking attendance of the Grade IV staff of the Nagaland Civil Secretariat. It also advised all the officers and staff attending the function to adhere to COVID-19 appropriate behaviours in the form of wearing masks, maintaining social distancing etc.
