NCSU fetes Traffic Police personnel

Seyiekhrieno & Razhuvotso Rhutso receives ‘Best Traffic award’

Kohima, December 16 (MExN): Nagaland Contractors' & Suppliers' Union (NCSU) felicitated Traffic Police personnel at Hotel Japfü, Kohima on December 15.


The Best Traffic award for female and male category was given to T/C Seyiekhrieno of Jakhama Village and Razhuvotso Rhutso of Jakhama Village respectively.


The awards were given during the NCSU Advent Christmas celebration the same day. They both received cash Rs. 10000 each.


The union in a press release stated that the profession of a traffic police are “noble and deserve recognition not only by our union but urged the state government to come forward and appreciate their selfish service to our people.”


Rev Dr Hokheto Chophy who was speaking at the function called the gathering to invite Jesus into every home and every ones heart. “Is any room for Jesus while celebration of Christmas, as there was no room for Jesus when He was born at Bethlehem?” he questioned.


“If you are right in the sight of God, tomorrow will be good life for you,” he said.


The speaker also appreciated traffic personal as they control our town and cities.


The traffic OC of both North and South police station while delivering greetings appreciated NCSU for honoring traffic personnel over the years.
The program was chaired by T Yanger Imchen Advisor NCSU. Pastor Phesama Baptist Church Rokovilie Zashumo invoked God blessing.


Greetings was delivered by KL Setuo Vice President. The felicitation was administered by John Kath General Secretary and the awards were handed over by President NCSU Pele Khezhie.
