NDPP Wokha holds meeting

Wokha, October 25 (MExN): The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) Wokha district held a consultative meeting at Santsuphen on October 21 with Dr. Chumben Murry, vice president, NDPP Nagaland as guest speaker.  

Dr. Chumben Murry, who is also former Minister of Agriculture, said the State has sufficient resources for development of rural villages, but the desired results can be achieved only through good leadership, people’s participation, and good governance.  

NDPP Wokha Media and Communication Secretary, Mhonchan Tungoe in a press release said that a total number of 470 members attended the meeting. The programme was chaired by Etsorhomo Ezung, NDPP Wokha unit president.  

Short speeches were delivered by CC Ezung, Yibomo Humtsoe, Yankhosao Lotha, Head GB, Sanu, president Women Wing, Yanphamo Tungoe, chairman, Wokha Village Council.
