Kohima, December 13 (MExN): State Planning Board (SPB) Deputy Chairman Neiba Kronu on December 13, 2011 challenged the villagers to come forward and cope up with the fast changing world.
Speaking at the 5th cultural festival of Porbami Youth Organization (PYO) today at Porba village under Phek district, the deputy chairman also called upon the villagers to develop better understanding among themselves and also to build cordial relation with the neighbouring villages for all round development. Kronu also called upon the youth to love and respect the elders to build the leadership of our people. He also requested the public to extend their cooperation with the present DAN government under the dynamic leadership of Neiphiu Rio, Chief Minister of Nagaland for all round development.
Later, Kronu addressed the Pfutsero Town Council consultative meeting at DB’s Court at ADC Complex.
Expounding the importance of Bio Metrics, the Deputy Chairman requested each and every individual to participate in this exercise.
The Deputy Chairman also requested the gathering to join hands in maintaining proper sanitation and beautifying Pfustero town. The meeting was attended by public leaders and different organizations.
